Designation : SNR ASSESSMENT OFFICER - LARGE SCALE ASSESSMENT (EGRA, EGMA & PILNA) (Code- EDU23-01072)
1. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
1.1 Develop and produce relevant policy guidelines for the development, administration and evaluation of Large Scale Assessment and Examination Systems.
1.2 Coordinate the development and administration of the Large Scale Assessment programs at school-based, national and regional levels.
1.3 Plan and coordinate the Large Scale Assessment Programs for development, trialing, administering, analyzing the results and reviewing standardized large scale assessment system for use in respective subjects and grades at different educational levels.
1.4 Design standards monitoring tests for use in schools, and provide in-service training and advice on standards monitoring program activities and materials relevant for schools usage.
1.5 Mentor and coach staff to build their capacity and improve their efficiencies in their areas of roles and responsibilities.
1.6 Perform any other duties as directed by the Assistant Secretary for Standards & Monitoring.
1.7 Incorporate Gender Equity and Social Inclusion Principles and values of Honesty, Integrity, Accountability, Respect, Wisdom and responsibility in programs, activities and initiatives to foster positive work ethics.
2. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS
2.1 Qualification
2.1.1 Bachelor’s Degree in Education.
2.1.2 Post-Graduate qualification in Education or relevant is preferable.
2.2 Knowledge
2.2.1 Knowledgeable in the curriculum and assessment system.
2.2.2 Knowledge in elements of sampling methodologies.

2.3.1 Management and leadership

2.4 Work Experience
2.4.1 Work experience in the Department of Education
2.4.2 Minimum of 5 years Teaching experience

2.4.4 Development of internal School Based Assessment guidelines and Assessment plan.
