Designation : ASSISTANT SECRETARY PROGRAM MGN'T & COORDINATION (Code- EDU23-01084)

Job Description / Responsibilities:

1. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

1.1 Assist to provide leadership on FODE programs and projects conducted to ensure equipment and facilities are maintained at an optimal standard in a more conducive learning environment.

1.2 Assist to implement all planned projects through proper delegation for procurement process

1.3 Ensure qualified personnel are recommended to apply in FODE for the purpose of enhancing learning standards of students

1.4 Manage all the programs and project planning coordinators on expenditures for FODE planned activities.

1.5 Assist to critically analyze all statistical data and comprehensive reports on FODE issues and initiatives for the branch.

1.6 Assist to oversee effective professional dialogue and advice in consistent with Education and TSC Act.

1.7 Ensure informed decisions are made by Governing Council of FODE by attending the GC meetings and providing reliable and accurate advice on issues for discussion.

1.8 Provide oversight on any project activities undertaken by FODE section to ensure successful completion of the projects within budget and time to contribute to improve student learning environment.

1.9 Ensure proper coordination and supervision of FODE Grant-in-Aid program to achieve prudent project management.

1.10 Conduct branch meetings and related education and training meetings both internally & externally.

1.11 Plan and prepare Annual Operation Plan (AOP) or Annual Management Plan (AMP).

1.12 Ensure FODE Centers submit quarterly reports to inform the department of its operations.

1.13 Plan and prepare SSM, TMT, NEB Information and policy papers.

1.14 Incorporate Gender Equity and Social Inclusion Principles and values of Honesty, Integrity, Accountability, Respect, Wisdom and responsibility in programs, activities and initiatives to foster positive work ethics.

2. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCES, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

2.1 Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education
  • Post Graduate or Master’s in Business Management (MBA) is desirable
  • Post Graduate or Master’s Degree in Education or Management is advantageous           

2.2 Knowledge:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ work experience in a supervisory role in administration or Project management roles.
  • Knowledgeable on FIE training course programs and activities
  • Knowledgeable on technological changes globally.
  • Sound knowledge of Education System
  • Knowledgeable on selection Criteria and Procedures
  • Vocational Education & Training Programs
  • Administrative knowledge
  • Current trend in environmental and technological changes globally.
  • Sound knowledge in Vocational Education System

2.3 Skills:

2.4 Work Experience:

  • 5 years or more in teaching relevant experience.
  • 8 years of Teaching experience in Vocational Administration
  • Experience in vocational training
  • Vocational and research is essential
