Designation : SENIOR INTERNAL AUDITOR - HEAD OFFICE.GENERAL PROJECTS (Code- EDU25-01104)
1. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
1.1. Manage the implementation of the annual audit program for the Head Office division’s General & Projects areas. Adhere closely to planned audit tasks to be carried out by the section and provide advice to the Principal Internal Auditor when issues arise.
1.2. Prepare draft reports on findings collected in audited areas and submit them to the Principal Internal Auditor for review and discussion.
1.3. Advise the Principal Internal Auditor on deficiencies and methods of improvement in audit practices. Assist in maintaining the Department Audit Manual up to date.
1.4. Manage the implementation of special audit investigations as directed by the Principal Internal Auditor and ensure follow-up checks are made on remedial actions required.
1.5. Advise subordinates on all changes to procedures, legislation, etc., with a particular focus on assisting team members in planning individual audits.
1.6. Ensure that all drafts are in the required format and check them before forwarding to the Senior Audit Inspector.
1.7. Facilitate quarterly audit committee meetings, including voice recording meeting proceedings and writing meeting minutes.
1.8. Assist the Principal Internal Auditor in identifying training needs and provide support for on-the-job training of staff. Attend to any administrative matters related to the daily operation of the section.

2.1.1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business Studies, or Business Administration.

2.4. Work Experience
2.4.1. Minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience in government accounting and auditing functions.
