1. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
1.1. Contribute to the efficient operation of the office by assisting in photo typing, faxing, filing and completion of requisition forms.
1.2. Ensure cleaning equipment/tools are readily available for use each day by properly keeping them in a secure place.
1.3. Ensure the cleaning equipment and cleaning chemicals are safe to use by providing sound advice on the condition/status of the equipment and chemicals.
1.4. Ensure to use own initiative by providing relief assistance to work area when required.
1.5. Incorporate Gender Equity and Social Inclusion Principles and values of Honesty, Integrity, Accountability, Respect, Wisdom and responsibility in programs, activities and initiatives to foster positive work ethics.
2. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS
2.1.1. Grade twelve (12) qualification with certificate in office management.
2.2.1. Knowledge of office procedures & safety rules
2.2.2. Knowledge of hygiene
2.2.3. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals usage.
2.3.1. Good cleaning skills
2.3.2. Ability to fix cleaning equipment/tools.
2.3.3. Ability to provide courteous client service.
2.3.4. Sound oral communication skills.
2.4. Work Experience
2.4.1. Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in office cleaning.
2.4.2. Must have some experience in general duties i.e. mailing, filing, photocopying and other duties.
