1. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1.1 Assist to ensure all Quality Assurance and Audit information is correct before the released by conducting quality assurance and audit checks.
1.2 Assist to carry out quality assurance tasks to ensure tasks are completed on time.
1.3 Assist to correct input errors detected during the implemented process.
1.4 Assist to conduct quality assurance checks to ensure delivery of goods and services are done according to departments agreed procedures have been followed.
1.5 Complete all correspondence within agreed time frame by responding promptly in writing.
1.6 Achieve or exceed client satisfaction by providing courteous and client focused service through performing of various processes and transactions.
1.7 Contribute to maintain performance by ensuring to provide cover and relief assistance to work area when required on own initiative.
1.8 Incorporate Gender Equity and Social Inclusion Principles and values of Honesty, Integrity, Accountability, Respect, Wisdom and responsibility in programs, activities and initiatives to foster positive work ethics.
2. QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS
2.1 Qualification:
2.1.1 Diploma or degree in Public Policy Management or related field is acceptable.
2.2 Experience:
2.2.1 Extensive experience in conducting computerized quality assurance and payroll audit or other relevant experience.
2.3 Knowledge:
2.3.1 Extensive knowledge of the functionality of the audit systems and functions.
2.3.2 Broad knowledge of PFM Act or terms and conditions of employment.
2.3.3 Knowledge of the relevant sections of the PSGO relating to salaries and entitlements of administrative staff in provincial and head office.
2.3.4 Thorough knowledge of principles and practices of effective auditing and quality assurance.
2.4 Skills:
2.4.1 High level of communication, both oral and written
2.4.2 Sound analytical ability to assess problem areas and propose improvements.
2.4.3 Able to maintain confidentiality of information collected through systems auditing and quality assurance activities.
2.4.4 Being proactive in conducting payroll audit and quality assurance checks.
2.4.5 Ability to set priorities and achieve deadlines.
2.4.6 Computer literate.
2.4.7 High level Numerical skills
2.4.8 Customer service skills.
2.4.9 Able to work within a team and contribute to team building activities.
