1. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
1.1. Administer and ensure the monitoring and supervision of curriculum implementation and all requirements are met.
1.2. Accountable for operational funds received from Divisional Administration – HQ.
1.3. Accountable to Senior Schools Inspector for ECE/Primary for effective operations of schools and teachers within the Inspectorate.
1.4. Assist in planning and administration of agreed provincial programs of professional development for school heads and teaching staff.
1.5. Ensure that curriculum goals (both National and Provincial) are met through effective teaching and learning.
1.6. Facilitate Research activities related to Education Inspections in the Region, Inspectorate, and schools as authorized by NDoE Research Committee.
1.7. Provide leadership to effectively and efficiently manage and supervise designated staff modeling system best practice in the area of monitoring, inspections, and performance management.
1.8. Ensure school heads are accountable through the effective implementation of the School Development Plans (SDP) planning and evaluation processes.
1.9. Supervise, Monitor, and Audit schools' implementation of school grants including TFF, donor funds, and other school-related funds.
1.10. Ensure that schools apply the management strategy of the School Learning Improvement Plan (SLIP) after identifying weaknesses, discrepancies through the National Quality Schools Standards Framework (NQSSF) / National Approach to School Standards Assessment (NASSA).
1.11. Incorporate Gender Equity and Social Inclusion Principles and values of Honesty, Integrity, Accountability, Respect, Wisdom, and responsibility in programs, activities, and initiatives to foster positive work ethics.
2. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCES, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
2.1. Qualification:
2.1.1. The minimum entry requirement for this position is a Bachelor's degree or higher:
2.2. Knowledge:
2.2.1. Sound knowledge of Advisory and Inspectorial duties and good knowledge of the Education Act and National Education Plan.
2.2.2. Sound knowledge of National and Provincial educational policies.
2.2.3. Sound knowledge of Public Service and Finance Management Act, the Education Act, and the Teaching Services Act, and other legislation as it applies to schooling.
2.3. Skills:
