1. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
1.1 Assist the Senior SME Regional Coordinator to manage all resources for SME programs and activities from Head Office for the regions.
1.2 Assist the Senior SME Coordinator to monitor all staffing, equipment’s throughout Southern region
1.3 Assist to coordinate with SME training staff to establish quality training goals or objectives to implement SME programs in the region
1.4 Assist the Senior SME coordinator to monitor all SME projects and assets in Southern region
1.5 Assist to compile factual data to monitor the progress of SME projects and Assets in the region
1.6 Assist to provide detailed progress report on all funded SME projects or activities in the Division, from development partners or by the PNG Government.
1.7 Assist to provide feasibility, formulations of SME project designs and reports on SME project activities
1.8 Work in collaboration with the provincial SME coordinator and school project committee to execute new innovative plans and activities for the schools in the region.
1.9 Assist to ensure funding requirements are met in accordance to the Public Service Financial Management Act and regulations.
1.10 Liaise with relevant Government Department and private sectors, business houses and NGO’s for SME support programs
1.11 Incorporate Gender Equity and Social Inclusion Principles and Values of Honesty, Integrity, Accountability, Respect, Wisdom and Responsibility in programs, activities and initiatives to foster positive work ethics.
2. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCES, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
2.1.1 Bachelor’s degree, preferably in MBA.
2.1.2 Bachelor’s degree in Education is an advantage
2.1.3 Post Graduate degree in Business Administration is advantageous
2.2.1 Knowledgeable of the Education System.
2.2.2 Sound knowledge of Vocational Education process.
2.2.3 Knowledgeable in Education Administration and Management.
2.2.4 Sound knowledge of small & medium enterprise.
2.3.1 Proven Leadership

2.4 Work Experience:
2.4.1 Experience in a similar job with a minimum 5 years industrial experience.
2.4.2 Work experience in Vocational Centers or any system school or college
2.4.3 Management or supervisory role experience.
2.4.4 Conversant with Building rules, industrial workplace regulations and HACCP management system.
