1. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
1.1 Assist to manage all resources for SME programs and activities at Head Office and in the Regions.
1.2 Assist to co-ordinate and monitor all staffing, equipment’s throughout the region
1.3 Assist to coordinate with SME training staff to establish quality training goals or objectives for implementation
1.4 Assist to monitor all SME projects and assets in all schools in the regions
1.5 Compile factual data to monitor the progress of SME projects and Assets in the country
1.6 Provide detailed progress report on all funded SME projects from the Division, development partners or by the PNG Government.
1.7 Provide feasibility, formulation, SME project design and general reports on all SME project activities.
1.8 Work in collaboration with the provincial SME and school project committees in the region to execute new plans and projects for the school in the regions
1.9 Assist to ensure funding requirements are met in accordance to the Public Service Financial Management Act and regulations.
1.10 Liaise with relevant Government Department and private sectors, business houses and NGO’s for SME support programs
1.11 Incorporate Gender Equity and Social Inclusion Principles and Values of Honesty, Integrity, Accountability, Respect, Wisdom and Responsibility in programs, activities and initiatives to foster positive work ethics
2. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCES, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
2.1 Qualification:
2.1.1 Bachelor’s degree, preferably in MBA.
2.1.2 Bachelor’s degree in Education is an advantage
2.1.3 Post Graduate degree in Business Administration is advantageous
2.2 Knowledge:
2.2.1 Excellent knowledge of education system.
2.2.2 Sound knowledge of Vocational Education & Training Program.
2.2.3 Sound knowledge in operational system.
2.2.4 Relevant experience in Education Administration and Management.
2.2.5 Conversant with Building rules, industrial workplace regulations and HACCP management system. .
2.2.6 Wide experience in tendering procedures.
2.2.7 Sound knowledge of Project Contracting and Project Management.
2.2.8 Sound knowledge of inspection and certifying completed projects.
2.2.9 Supply and Value chain system and analysis
2.2.10 Evaluation and Land matter experiences.
2.3 Skills:
2.3.1 Proven leadership, administrative, supervisory, and organizational and management skills.
2.3.2 Ability to plan prioritizes, evaluate and monitor.
2.3.3 Ability to analyze, solve and make appropriate decisions.
2.3.4 Excellent communication skills, both in written and oral.
2.3.5 Compile multi-media and visual aid training materials.
2.3.6 Computer literate
2.3.7 Team player
2.4 Work Experience:
2.4.1 Experience in a similar job with a minimum of five (5) years industrial experience.
2.4.2 Work experience in Vocational Centers and any system school
2.4.3 Management or supervisory role experience
