1.1 Lead in developing and reviewing FODE and Inclusive Education Policies for the Division.
1.2 Coordinate Flexible Open Distance and Inclusive Education Policies for full implementation throughout the regions.
1.3 Manage and oversee all regional programs, provincial support with inclusive curriculum and inspections in all system schools.
1.4 Evaluate the implemented activities in the regions at the provincial level to promote quality Education.
1.5 Provide quarterly reports to Deputy Secretary Schools Directorate on programs & projects executed for Flexible Open Distance & Inclusive Education.
1.6 Design and review an annual Operational and Management Plan for FODE & Inclusive Education.
1.7 Plan regular divisional meetings for strategic implementation on the priority activities and results achieved as planned.
1.8 Organize and attend meetings with Government Agencies, Stakeholders, and NGO’s for advice and financial support.
1.9 Incorporate Gender Equity and Social Inclusion Principles and values of Honesty, Integrity, Accountability, Respect, Wisdom, and responsibility in programs, activities, and initiatives to foster positive work ethics.
2. QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND WORK EXPERIENCE
(a) Qualification:
Master’s Degree in Leadership and Management is required.
Master’s Degree in Education is preferable.
Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a management role.
(b) Knowledge:
Sound knowledge of Principles and practices on Management and Leadership.
Conversant with the administration and management for FIE teacher registration policies and procedures.
Thorough knowledge of the General Order, Public Finance Management Act, TSC Act, PSM Act 1995, and DoE Act.
Knowledgeable in Staff Supervision and Appraisal.

(d) Work Experience:
5 to 10 years of work experience in Flexible Distance Learning and Inclusive Education or in a field of curriculum development or curriculum training.
Extensive knowledge of the Public Service General Order 14/12, TSC Act, Public Service Finance Management Act, and other relevant legislative provisions.
