1. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
1.1. Identify and monitor training needs in the organization, and design, plan, and implement training programs, policies, and procedures to fulfill those needs.
1.1. Enhance employee performance, boost employee productivity, reduce employee turnover, and improve organizational culture.
1.1. Develop, implement and review DoE Training Policy and the Master Training Plan.
1.1. Develop, review and deliver relevant induction training programs in collaboration with divisional managers so that new employees can settle in and enjoy working in new work environment.
1.1. Manage to secure (internal/external) training placements for professional development of officers seeking specialized training by liaising with in-country & overseas training institutions and donor agencies for scholarships.
1.6. Incorporate Gender Equity and Social Inclusion Principles and values of Honesty, Integrity, Accountability, Respect, Wisdom and Responsibility in programs, Activities and initiatives to foster positive work ethics.
2. QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, WORK EXPERIENCES
2.1. Qualifications
2.1.1. Degree qualification in Human Resource Management, Education or Arts.
2.2. Knowledge
2.2.1. Sound knowledge of relevant sections of the General Orders and PFMA.
2.2.2. Knowledge in HRM best practice.
2.2.3. Knowledge of training process and procedures.
2.3. Skills
2.3.1. Coordinating & organizing events
2.3.2. Demonstrated ability to conduct training needs analysis.
2.3.3. Ability to develop and deliver work related training programmes.
2.3.4. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement induction training programmes.
2.3.5. Ability to develop and review training policies and plans.
2.3.6. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
2.3.7. Work place training and adult learning techniques.
2.3.8. Computers literate, Microsoft Application; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
2.3.9. Networking Skills
2.3.10. Negotiation skills
2.3.11. Report writing skills.
2.4. Work Experience
2.4.1. At least 3-4 years’ work experience in developing and delivering training in a large organization.
