Job Description / Responsibilities:

1. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

1.1. Work with executive and senior officers to develop, review and assess Organization Development procedures and plans to ensure the department maintains adequate and suitably trained workforce to achieve the goals of the department.

1.2. Forecast the numbers and types of workers required to meet future workforce requirements by analyzing the department’s current workforce position and maintaining workforce information necessary to meet future requirements.

1.3. Ensure the department attracts and retains skilled employees by liaising with recruitment and selection officers to attract officers through developing internal employee redeployment plan and develop officers within the department.

1.4. Contribute to positive and effective team building activities by being involved in various OD activities to achieve work targets of the branch.

1.5. Achieve and exceed client satisfaction by providing consistent and efficient client service through performing of various processes and transactions.

1.6. Contribute in maintaining performance by ensuring to provide cover and relief assistance to work area when required on own initiative.

1.7. Incorporate Gender Equity and Social Inclusion Principles and values of Honesty, Integrity, Accountability, Respect, Wisdom and Responsibility in programs, Activities and initiatives to foster positive work ethics.

2. QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, WORK EXPERIENCES

2.1. Qualifications

2.1.1. Degree qualification in Human Resource Management, Education or Arts.

2.2. Knowledge

2.2.1. Knowledge of human resource principles and practices.

2.2.2. Thorough knowledge of adult learning approaches.

2.2.3. Thorough knowledge of Organization Development principles and practices.

2.2.4. Sound knowledge of customer service principles and practices.

2.2.5. Knowledge of processes of developing procedures and policies. 

2.3. Skills

2.3.1. Excellent level of communication, both oral and written.

2.3.2. Researching and report writing skills

2.3.3. Proven skills in conducting workplace adult training.

2.3.4. Analytical ability to assess issues/problems and provide relevant advice.

2.3.5. Ability to communicate with officers at all levels of the department.

2.3.6. High level interpersonal skills.                                                                                                                                                                                                             

2.4. Work Experience

2.4.1. 3-4 years relevant experience in Organization Development or human resource area.
