1. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
1.1. Provide program coordination to ensure high standard on Flexible Open Distance & Inclusive Education is delivered
1.2. Assist to maintain proper program coordination at an optimal high standard learning environment in FI Education.
1.3. Initiate and maintain continuous communication with provincial education authorities, statutory bodies and non-governmental organizations or donor funds on all matters pertaining to Flexible Open Distance & Inclusive Education.
1.4. Submit to Assistant Secretary Program Management & Coordination the Divisional planned programs, budget requirements for efficient coordination on activities for implementation.
1.5. Assist to assess and provide statistical data and comprehensive reports on FIE issues and initiatives for department’s consumption.
1.6. Ensure to be informed on decisions approved at FODE Governing Council by attending the meetings and providing reliable and accurate advice on issues for discussion.
1.7. Provide oversight for any program activities undertaken by FODE section to ensure successful completion of the planned programs are within budget.
1.8. Ensure program coordination and supervision on FODE Aid Grant programs are prudently delivered.
1.9. Take responsibility for the achievement of activities in the branch by providing regular feedback and guidance to subordinates, hold regular meetings and review outcome of activities
1.10. Incorporate Gender Equity and Social Inclusion Principles and values of Honesty, Integrity, Accountability, Respect, Wisdom and responsibility in programs, activities and initiatives to foster positive work ethics.
2. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCES, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
2.1. Qualification:
2.1.1. Bachelor’s Degree in Management
2.1.2. Postgraduate qualification in Business Management
2.1.3. Bachelor’s Degree in Education or relevant equivalent qualification is advantageous.
2.2. Knowledge:
2.2.1. Sound knowledge on Teaching Services and Education Act, Education School Administration System, Divisional policies and procedures.
2.2.2. Budget Preparation and Analysis.
2.2.3. Report Writing
2.2.4. Knowledgeable on the Education System.
2.3. Skills:
2.3.1. Proven leadership, administrative, supervisory, organization and management skills.
2.3.2. Ability to plan prioritizes, evaluate and monitor.
2.3.3. Ability to analyze, solve and make appropriate decisions.
2.3.4. Excellent communication skills, both in written and oral.
2.3.5. Computer literate
2.4. Work Experience:
2.4.1. Minimum of 5 years work experience in a supervisory position in FODE and Inclusive schools
2.4.2. Extensive experience in education administration is relevant.
2.4.3. A minimum teaching of 5 years in any system schools is referable
