1. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
1.1. Ensuring that high standards on Flexible of Distance Education is delivered with adequate equipment and facilities to maintain an optimal standard of learning
1.2. Maintain a continuous dialog with the provincial education authorities, statutory bodies and non-governmental organizations on matters pertaining to FODE.
1.3. Submit to Senior Program Liaison Coordinator on the budget requirements for efficient operation on FODE expansion activities
1.4. To provide reports on FODE Expansion’s operational and expenditures in Head office and all FODE schools.
1.5. Assess and provide all statistical data and comprehensive reports on FODE issues and initiatives for Department’s consumption.
1.6. Assist to inform decisions made by Governing Council of FODE and to attend all GC meetings. Providing reliable and accurate advice on issues for discussion.
1.7. Provide oversight on any project activities undertaken by FODE section to ensure successful completion of the projects that is within the budget
1.8. Ensure to coordinate and supervise FODE Aid Grants for high quality achievement in FODE.
1.9. Take responsibility on the achievement of activities in the branch by providing regular feedback and guidance with regular meetings to review progress outcomes of FODE activities
2. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCES, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
2.1. Qualification:
2.1.1. Bachelor degree of MBA is relevant
2.1.2. Degree in Administration or equivalent is preferable
2.2. Knowledge:
2.2.1. Sound knowledge in Teaching Service and Education Act, Education or School Administration system, policies and procedures
2.2.2. Budget preparation and analysis
2.2.3. Report Writing
2.3. Skills:
2.3.1. Proven Leadership,
2.3.1. Supervisory or Managerial skills.
2.3.2. Plan, evaluate and monitor.
2.3.3. Analyze with problem solving & decision making.
2.3.4. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
2.3.5. Computer literate
2.4. Work Experience:
2.4.1. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in FODE, Secondary school level on supervisory position (Deputy Principal / Principal)
2.4.2. Experience in Education Administration.
2.4.3. Incorporate Gender Equity and Social Inclusion Principles and values of Honesty, Integrity, Accountability, Respect, Wisdom and responsibility in programs, activities and initiatives to foster positive work ethics.
