1. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
1.1. Responsible to the Chief Internal Auditor, liaise closely with and provide administrative services to other officers of the Internal Audits unit.
1.2. Assist the Chief Internal Auditor in the preparation of Budget Estimates and Quarterly Reviews of the unit for the Quarterly Budget Reviews of the Department.
1.3. Responsible for maintaining and updating the Stock Item Book, Non-Inventory Stock cards, and conducting the annual stock take of the office for records purposes.
1.4. Prepare Finance Form 3 and Finance Form 4 for purchases of goods and services for the office, and arrange travel and accommodation for traveling Auditors to conduct investigations in other Provinces.
1.5. Complete specific tasks determined and/or directed by the Chief Internal Auditor.
1.6. Incorporate Gender Equity and Social Inclusion principles and values of honesty, accountability, respect, wisdom, and responsibility in programs, activities, and initiatives to foster positive work ethics.
2. QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND WORK EXPERIENCES
2.1. Qualifications
2.1.1. Diploma in Accounting, Office Administration, or Management is preferable.
2.2. Knowledge
2.2.1. Office procedures.
2.2.2. Government Accounting system.
2.2.3. Public Service General Orders & Instructions.
2.3. Skills
2.3.1. Numeracy.
2.3.2. Public relations.
2.3.3. Effective Communications.
2.3.4. Computing.
2.4. Work Experience
2.4.1. Minimum of three (3) years of relevant clerical experience in a related or allied work.
