1. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
1.1 Provide the data and statistics for management to assist in the budgetary and procurement planning process.
1.2 Facilitate training for subordinates in using QuickBooks asset management register.
1.3 Schedule, organize and manage physical inventory counts on assets.
1.4 Investigate and report any discrepancies to the Assistant Secretary, Divisional Administration head and/or Chief Internal Auditor.
1.5 Compile inventory reports, recording the quantity, type and value of materials, equipment and stock on hand and any transfers or disposal using manual or computerized inventory systems.
1.6 Reconcile physical inventories with computer counts and keep accurate records of inventory levels and location for easy retrieval.
1.7 Close all orders when receiving has been completed.
1.8 Monitor Stockroom Organization and replenishment of inventory stock. .
1.9 Manage inventory of project assets and perform other related work as required.
1.10 Incorporate Gender Equity and Social Inclusion Principles and values of Honesty, Integrity, Accountability, Respect, Wisdom and Responsibility in programs, Activities and initiatives to foster positive work ethics.
2.QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS
2.1.1 The minimum entry requirement is a Diploma or higher;
2.1.2 Diploma in administration or Vocational Education Training or relevant.
2.2.1 Knowledge of a computerized asset management/ inventory system is highly desirable
2.2.2 Knowledge of how to conduct inventory work
2.2.3 Knowledge of DoE asset management procedures
2.2.4 Knowledge on how to conduct board of survey on machines and equipment.

2.3.5 Good vision and a good state of physical conditioning.
2.4 Work Experience
2.4.1 At least 3 years of experience in asset management or related.
