1. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
1.1 Accuracy on Claim Registration.
1.2 Sound Advice on Claims Registered and related matters
1.3 Reliable data base on claim registration, etc.
1.4 Maintain voucher registration system from information provided by Computer Services Section.
1.5 Initiate action to obtain outstanding claims for payment from suppliers and divisions as determined by outstanding commitment from the Computer records.
1.6 Provide information relating to paid and unpaid claims to the users.
1.7 Attend to counter queries.
1.8 Carry out other accounts duties as directed, consistent with the above.
2. QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, WORK EXPERIENCES
2.1.1 Minimum qualification of Certificate in Accounting/Business Management/Commerce.
2.1.2 Diploma or Degree in Accounting/Business Management/Commerce, Information Technology skills is highly desirable
2.2.1 Public Finance Management Act
2.2.2 Public Service General Orders
2.2.3 Public Service Management and Control Act
2.3.1 Effective Human Relations
2.3.2 Planning and Management Skills
2.3.4 Computer Literate
2.4 Work Experience
2.4.1 Minimum of two (2) years experience in Government Accounting and examinations.
2.4.2 Ability to supervise and train subordinate staff. Experience in similar or allied work desirable.
